The Synology RackStation RS217 is a 2-bay NAS enclosure designed for efficient, shared storage across your network. It features dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and supports both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA hard drives or SSDs. You can set up your drives in RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD, Synology Hybrid RAID (SHR), or Basic configurations, depending on your storage needs. Under the hood, it's powered by an Armada 385 processor and 512MB of DDR3 RAM, running the intuitive Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system for easy management and setup.
