The Tripp Lite SmartRack 12U Wall Mountable Server Cabinet Enclosure, Black (SRW12U) is a sturdy, steel cabinet designed to secure and organize EIA-standard 19-inch rack equipment in locations with limited floor space. It is suitable for network closets, retail locations, back offices, and classrooms. The unit arrives fully assembled, allowing for a quick setup.
Features and Benefits:
Security: To prevent tampering and theft, the enclosure's front door and side panels are lockable. The rack also meets PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) physical security requirements.
Access and installation: For easy maintenance and access to cabling, the front door and side panels can be removed. You can also reverse the front door's opening direction by rotating the cabinet 180 degrees before mounting.
Cooling and ventilation: The front door, top, bottom, and side panels are all vented to allow for passive airflow, which helps keep equipment cool. The vented panels also support optional cooling fans, such as Tripp Lite's SRFANWM, which are sold separately.
Space-saving: The cabinet mounts to a wall, saving valuable floor space. You can also make it a mobile rolling rack by adding Tripp Lite's optional SRCASTER caster kit, which is sold separately.
Cable management: Convenient ports with removable covers allow for organized cable routing through the top and bottom of the cabinet.
Adjustable rails: The vertical mounting rails can be adjusted to accommodate equipment with depths up to 16.5 inches.
