The Algo 8188 IP Ceiling Speaker is a high-performance, SIP-compliant, PoE-powered network audio device designed for voice paging, emergency notifications, and background music in commercial environments. It is specifically designed to flush-mount into T-bar drop ceilings, making it an ideal solution for schools, hospitals, offices, retail spaces, and healthcare facilities. The 8188 is fully manageable via a web interface or through central provisioning. As a 3rd-party SIP endpoint, the 8188 is compatible with most hosted or premise-based VoIP telephone systems.

Self-Amplified & PoE: Powered via Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af), eliminating the need for a separate amplifier or local power source.
Multicast Scalability: A single registered 8188 can act as a master to stream audio to an unlimited number of additional Algo speakers,, paging adapters, or visual alerters, creating a cost-effective, large-scale paging system.
Intelligent Features: An integrated microphone allows for two-way talkback and ambient noise monitoring, which automatically adjusts the speaker volume to ensure audibility in changing noise environments.
Emergency Alerting: Supports the storage of WAV files for custom announcements or emergency alerts, and can be integrated with Algo's 8301 Paging Adapter for scheduled tones.
